WTI had humble
beginnings in 1987. It was started to provide underground storage tank services and
environmental remediation. In 1994, the company was acquired by
the current management. At the time there were 7 full-time
permanent employees. Over the years WTI has grown to 25
full-time permanent employees, ranging from office staff, project
managers, laborers, equipment operators, truck drivers, welders and
the administrative staff.
After the acquisition, WTI continued providing the
services they had for industry, commercial establishments, local,
state and federal government agencies, yet expanded their
capabilities. The industrial and hazardous waste management,
environmental consulting, environmental remediation, industrial
cleaing, sampling and analytical services grew to include deep mine
faceups, high wall reclamation, haul road construction, sediment
control, landfill closure, drainage control, right of way clearing,
stream bank protection, mine sealing, road repair, dozer work,
excavation and many other services.
WTI operates their own major equipment
and instrumentation. WTI vehicular equipment consists of dump
trucks, road tractors, with various trailers. Other heavy equipment
includes excavators, tractors, rollers and smaller equipment such as
backhoes and skidsteers. With this equipment WTI is able to assist
you with all your construction/environmental needs and requests.
