A.T. MASSEY (Fall 2001) Martin County Coal
WTI responded to an emergency coal slurry spill. WTI provided vacuum trucks and
other equipment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 8 weeks straight.
Fike/Artel Superfund Site (11/02 – 08/03)
WTI won the contract by the Fike/Artel Trust to place the final cap on the
superfund site. The cap was designed and constructed so that immediately upon
completion the property was leased to a trucking company. The one time
superfund site has been transformed into good usable property in Nitro, West
Virginia.
USACE – (2000-11/2002)
The United States Army Corps of Engineers were to expand the Marmet Lock and
Dam in Belle, West Virginia. Once the property was acquired, WasteTron, Inc.
won the contract to abate the asbestos and demolition the structures on over
250 tracts of property. The acquisition, asbestos abatement and demolition took
over two years to complete.
NASA, Sandusky, Ohio (04/06 -10/06)
WTI was retained to provide remediation of contaminated soils from NASA’s
facility located in Sandusky, Ohio. This involved not only the transportation
and disposal of hazaroudous waste, but also bioremediating soils onsite.
A.T. Massey, Mammoth Coal (04/06)
WTI was retained by Mammoth Coal to provide certain right-of-way clearing at
one of their locations.
USACE – Pt. Pleasant Plants
WTI was retained by the USACE to operate two wastewater treatment plants
located in Pt. Pleasant, West Virgina at the site of the former WV Ordnance
Works. WTI has not only drilled wells, maintained roads and performed a
substantial amount of earthwork.
ECI Green II Landfill Site (06/2006 – Present)
WTI teamed with ECI to cap a landfill in Logan, Ohio for Goodyear and PPG. WTI
anticipates this project to be completed by September, 2007.
